Dear Fellow Bloggers,
The moment I watched the new film Avatar, I knew that James Cameron hadn't originaly come up with the idea. He said that he had first invented the idea before his film 'Titanic'. That's around 1994, just TWO years after a cartoon had come out called 'Ferngully'. He has completely stolen this cartoon and made it has his own. Sure, the special effects are better and probably less cheesey... but when (in the credits) it says it was by him... not it wasn't. It is based on a children's cartoon film, which comes from a book by Diana Young.
Look it up, you'll be amazed by how similar they are... even the source of nature and light is the same... even some of the same dialogue!!!
Thanks, Clover Clark.
I love Ferngully! I haven't seen Avatar so I was unaware of all the similarities they share, but Avatar is making A LOOOOOT of money. This is totally unfair!!!
